Bullying Fun Facts

     So far, this blog has informed of interesting "reasons" for bullying. There are many types, and it happens constantly, However,  some reasons children suffer through bullying are astonishing. For example, research shows that half of all children are bullied at some point in their school years. 10% of all children receive the abuse on a daily basis. Listed below are some other fun facts:

*The word "bully" originally meant "sweetheart" and gradually evolved to "harrasser of the weak."
*30% of children who have food allergies are bullied because of that food allergy 
*Boys usually bully according to group, while girls usually bully according to social status
*School bullying is a universal issue, not just one in the United States
* Teachers only notice the harassment 1 in 25 times
